I'll play a little.ĭ4 isn't a fantasy/comic-style game anymore and is brutal. I wish there would be another expansion for D3! I think that will never come.Īlso accurate, likely. I do enjoy the occasional ranged character, but the leaderboards are always 80% ranged 20% melee. Doesn't feel right and I don't like that I have to do that to be competitive.Īlso PoE is so skewed in favor of ranged while I prefer melee playstyles for my ARPGs that GGGs best solution to make melee viable is to give melee skills that fire projectiles, like lacarate. To me it looks and feels just stupid when a paladin or assassin type charcter places a tribal totem that summons a tribal spirit to punch the monsters. Also, one of the specific pecularities I have is that I prefer strongly defined classes. I like d3 for what it is, some dumb fun for a few hours every few months, destroying millions of monsters in a blaze of glory, feeling like a demi-god doing it. Same goes for d2r, but to a bit of a lesser extend. I work 20 hours a week, go to school 20 hours a week and 5 in distsnce learning, studying, fitness, social life, then I can game a bit, if I'd only wanted to play one game I could, but I wanna play hot releases like Elden Ring or Forbidden West too, I literally don't have enough hours for that.

It's literally too complex for me now, I don't have the time. I like it, can't wait for PoE2 campaign, but I never stick around.
